March 30, 2016 Dear OACS Family, I am writing this letter home to let you know that I will not be returning to OACS next year. I have loved my time with OACS and coming to this decision was a long and prayerful decision. My time here has been fantastic and being able to get to know each of you and your families has been a wonderful gift. Tiffani Sommerville will be returning as the 3 rd -8 th  grade teacher next year insuring a level of consistency in instruction.             As with all schools, this is a natural change that comes and I have all confidence that our school will continue in the same positive direction it has been going in for the last  75 years – teaching children about the love of Jesus and offering top of the line education.             The school board is working closely with the superintendents of education for the Central Calif...

Birthday Weekend

Hey friends, You are cordially invited to my birthday weekend April 22-24 . I'm planning a BIG weekend of festivities. Complete with a BOUNCE HOUSE!!! Who doesn't want a bounce house at their party!? I figure I should have a big, big, big party this year. Go big or go home ;) Soooooo, please let me know if you are able to come. I've got housing options for you-some beds, couches, mattresses and other options! It's going to be a hoot and a holler. The festivities will go something like this: Friday : Supper and vespers of baked potato bar around 6:30 pm Hang out with friends until we sleep Saturday : Possibly church. Yaystacks for lunch! Adventure around Yosemite and outdoors! THE BIG PARTY @ 6 Hobo Stew, glow sticks, bonfire, blankets, pillows and BOUNCE HOUSE!!! Talking and visiting until the cows come home. I'm going on an adventure to Cambodia. I leave in a few days. I'm crazy excited about it. It will be a whorl wind, crazier than my adventure to Australia last year.
