My Dreams

Originally uploaded by joar andre

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet,
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

~ W.B. Yeats.

I know this poem too well. I read it a few weekends ago while visiting Felicia and Sarah Hayhoe. This poem can go either way.
so beautiful
so painful

be careful! you tread on my dreams
man this is SO perfect!
all we have right now ARE our dreams!
so we shall "give" our dreams... in our dreams... and "they" shall, hopefully, tread softly yet they don't know where their feet ARE!
oh our dreams.
