What if...

What if I stopped being the one to call people?

What if I stopped being the one to connect with friends?

What if I wasn't the one who looked on social media websites to see how friends and family were doing back home?

What if I waited for someone to call me, for someone to put forth energy to connect with me?

Would I still be lonely or would I be even lonelier?

It's the downside of having a sentimental heart.

I wonder the same thing...

That was not the gifts nor the role that you were given. You were called to be the initiator. Fill your calling well and deeply. Givers struggle when they come in contact with few reciprocators. But, take heart, you tether the world and this is your calling.

Well, if you stopped, you'd probably still get a message from me. Especially when my family is sleeping when I want them to be on the internet. ;) Thanks for keeping in touch.
