What up? Oh, I'll tell you what's up.

Teaching and principal-ing is a lot of work. I live at this school most days. I have yet to sleep here but it's coming, it is only a matter of time.

I'm scared of doing things wrong or messing up but God is reminding me who put me here.

I went up to the big trees the other day, it had been to long. I miss being among the giants, feeling so small and new. It was a good feeling, a good memory. The air was fresh, the path familiar and the trees wise from having seen it all. I forget sometimes to take time in God-wild places, it gives Him a chance to speak without distraction.

Only two months left of school! Wowzers, where has the time gone? I've got a principal trip to Las Vegas a week before my birthday. Haha, wanna meet me there?

I have a 1/2 marathon to run in May but my IT band has been hurting and I'm scared. I've had to cut back on my running and I'm working on strengthening it. But I had just gotten good at running, I was averaging 9.52 min miles on my long runs. Which was so much faster than 2 years ago when I first started running at 11.30 min long runs. I hope I can keep it together.

I get to go back to school in June. Summer school. It means no summer camp, but somehow I'm okay with that. I get heaps of kids and camp feel everyday here at school. I'll miss working with great college students but I think I can sneak in a visit or two. If you are in the Pacific Union College area please tell me and we can go visit the Jack London park together.

My super cool birthday is coming up real fast. I'll be championing out the end of a decade of 20's. I have no fear of age. I've done heaps of stuff in just 29 years of life. I'll be putting together a little list of what I've learned in 30 years of life. It's good, trust me.

Grades are due soon. My spelling is getting better. I can add numbers really fast now. I know the 10 plagues, 7 days of creation and lots of memory verses. Teaching is awesome.

You're going to love 30, I can tell already. When I was teaching, I learned to count to three as well as count down from 10 REALLY well. :)

I count down in French in my classroom. I reminds me that I'm still on an adventure.

Well today the majority of the students have been gone from the school leaving me and just a very tiny group of working students and green house workers to run the place. I must be honest I wasn't very excited about being left behind while everyone else went to an faraway land to do mission work. Especially because one group was going to Honduras, the very first place I lived outside of America. I would have LOVED to visit my old home at El Hogar de Ninos. I am on the move again. I know that I'm hard to get ahold of or that I'm always going somewhere new but this time I'm not. I'm going back to a place I've been before, a place that I have called home. I'm moving to Oakhurst, California. The town right outside the Southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. I am their new Kindergarden teacher. That's right, a bunch of little kids and I are going to learn together We are going to conquer the world of colors, numbers and letters. We will go where no other 5 and 6 year old have gone before! We will explore the outdoors, our imaginations and the world of knowledge. It is going to be grand. After I finish up here in Arizona I'm heading up and over, school starts in a little bit and I've got a classroom to prepare. God is good. "For I know the plans I have for you, "says the Lord. Almost nearly perfectly content.

Tonight was great. I finally have my own kitchen and now I finally have my own food to cook. I went shopping yesterday (which will have to wait till the next story to tell about those adventures) and bought a few staple items. Included in those things was an avocado which I was given. I decided tonight to check that avocado for ripeness and found it to be the perfect time for it to be devoured. Then that's what I decided to do, I cut it up and put it on a plate. Then I realized I had nothing else to put on it. . . until it hit me like a speeding train, "I have onions I can put with it." Then I realized I can also put some of my diced tomatoes with it to to make a salsa. After mixing it all up and being ready to eat I realized something else. . . who would want to eat it just like this by itself. Here's where it gets really exciting.
